Back to Normal Schedule
After having knee surgery on May 26th, I am back in my skates, and about 75% of the way back to normal with some small limitations.
My coaching schedule has changed drastically this season due to me not teaching Learn to Skate classes at Birmingham, and with limited to no access to their Studio Rink.
If you are still interested in lessons, I will try to accommodate everyone as much as possible with the ice time available to me.

Normally, I coach at John Lindell (Royal Oak), Birmingham Ice Rink, Buffalo Wild Wings Arena (Troy), and Wallace Ice Rink (Cranbrook). I am willing to travel to other arenas.

Starting skating at the age of 10, Jenette quickly made up for lost time. Training as a competitive figure skater in some of the biggest training centers in the United States. She is an International and National Competitor. Including:

She has been coaching for over 20 years, including hockey skills and power skating for the past 12 years.
​
She also specializes in working with skaters with challenges, having a Masters degree in Psychology. She is currently pursuing her Ph.D. in Psychology with a specialization in Sport & Performance Psychology with an projected completion date of October 2028.

She has taken students from the first steps to their dreams.
​
Using the Positive Reinforcement method of coaching she instills the love of the sport and life long lessons as well as giving her students the tools they need to achieve their goals.
